Each morning we are born again.
What we do today is what matters most.
-Buddha, submitted by Terry H., Oak Creek WI

________
BOULDER

This is the beginning of a new day.
You have been given this day to use as you will.
You can waste it or use it for good.
What you do today is important
because you are exchanging a day of your life for it.
When tomorrow comes,
this day will be gone forever;
in its place is something that you have left behind…
…..let it be something good.
-source unknown, submitted by Cindy K, Green Bay WI

Today matters! I dare you to embrace every succulent moment of today and
remind yourself constantly that you have just one chance to make this day
worthwhile. Whether you choose to rest or reach, ponder or pursue, dream or
do, please make today matter for you and those who count on you.

Peace,
Paul

possibilities. How do we make that happen? A LITTLE BIT MORE! Bring your
bestest, most creative, tireless, extraordinary self to school, work, and/or

Life happens. Good stuff, blechy stuff, and everything in between.
Sometimes things fall into place so sweetly, and sometimes it feels like you
are sitting in front of a box from Ikea: a hundred parts to assemble with no
written instructions.

An optimal life isn't perfect, and it isn't always fun. It is, however,
ALWAYS worth it. I hope you can enjoy a thirst-quenching drink of life this
week and let it fill you up.

Peace,
Paul

As some prepare to celebrate romantic love on Valentine's Day, I invite all
of us to celebrate LOVE and its sweet variations: whether it is your
friends, your kin, your pets, your self, and/or your Higher Power, it is
worth taking a few minutes this week to savor the love in your life and
perhaps remind someone how important their LOVE is to you.

Many of you have enjoyed previous quote compilations, so I dug through our
archives and put together a list of LOVE-themed Ripples. You can receive
the list by sending a blank email to LOVE [at] TheRipplesGuy.com and you
will need to replace [at] with @ and eliminate the extra spaces.

Peace,
Paul

After a brief yet fun-filled journey to the Canadian Province of Alberta
for the Western Canadian Campus Recreation Conference, I am writing this
ponder on the flight home to my dog, my sweetie, and my own sweet bed.

I had some time on this trip to dive into Seth Godin's new book "Linchpin:
Are you Indispensable?" As always, his provocative perspective and informal
writing style invite me to challenge how I think, feel, and behave in my
training business and beyond. I recommend it to anyone who might be ready
to seize new opportunities!

I hope you create the time and energy to claim the rewards of your boldness
this week!

Paul

What the Bleep Do We Know?
If you are in the right mindset, this wacky-cool-weird movie (equal parts documentary, story, and special effects diplay) is a great film to watch with friends or colleagues. The protagonist, Amanda, played by Marlee Matlin, finds herself in a fantastic Alice in Wonderland experience when her daily, uninspired life begins to unravel. If you take this as FACTUAL you will be too skeptical, and if you take it as FICTION you will be uninspired. Just keep an open mind and see where it takes you.
